Inconel® 625

Here we have a nickel-based super-alloy known for its high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance... upwards of 2000° Fahrenheit! The Niobium and Molybdenum elements give this alloy superior strength and toughness. Alloy 625 covers a wide array of applications. It performs particularly well in marine environments, turbine-engine components, high-temperature chemical processing atmospheres, and more. Some familiar components include propeller blades, especially those submerged in seawater, and boiler tubes. Other applications include springs, seals, and underwater cabling.
